Scarlett Johansson has put her four-bedroom Spanish-style Los Angeles mansion up for sale for $5 million. Built atop a Hollywood hill in 1931 and restored to its original glory, the multimillion dollar mansion boasts five bathrooms, a pool and spa, chef’s kitchen, a media room, solar electricity, and a personal gym. The gated property also features landscaped terraces, patios, and cascading gardens. Johansson purchased the villa for nearly $8 million in 2007.

The Horse Whisperer cutie will now permanently reside in the $2.2 million penthouse she shares with husband Ryan Reynolds on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

If you got $5 Million and could use a 4 bedroom Spanish villa in the Holllywood Hills, Scarlett Johansson’s house is up for sale. Although I think its overpriced a a mil or two, the Scarlett factor more than makes up for it.

For the third time, Scarlett Johansson is starring in an advertising campaign for Spanish brand Mango.

And for the third time, we’d like to say: thank you, Mango!

For the photo shoot, the 25-year-old beauty wore new designs from the Spring 2010 line and said of it:

“I love working with Mango. This is the third campaign I have done with them. The photographer, Mario Sorrenti, makes me feel very comfortable: the sessions are great fun.”

Johansson will next be seen in the big screen in May. She’ll star as The Black Widow Iron Man 2. For now, enjoy Scarlett looking as sexy as ever in her latest spread…

Here are some shots of Scarlett Johansson effectively using her cleavage in advertising campaigns. I say it’s effective because all these products are geared towards women and yet I’m still compelled to buy it as a heterosexual male.

Rumors have been swirling as to whether Penelope Cruz is pregnant with her actor boyfriend Javier Bardem’s baby — the actress talks to Vanity Fair magazine about the reports and answers the question:  Of her female costars, who is the better kisser, Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron? Cruz locked lips with Johansson in the 2008 film ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ — which also starred Bardem — and kissed Theron in the 2004 movie ‘Head in the Clouds.’ When asked to compare her smooches with the sexy stars, the Oscar-winning actress told VF, “No matter how I answer that I will be in trouble. Both were pretty beautiful partners.” As for the baby bump rumors, the actress answered the question by telling a story about her ‘Volver’ director Pedro Almodóvar. She said Almodóvar attempted to squash the pregnancy rumors when a journalist asked him about it on a red carpet, but it was to no avail and the gossip continues. Cruz graces the latest issue of Vanity Fair, hitting newsstands this week. The actress’ film ‘Nine’ arrives in theaters Nov. 25.

Fresh off their performance at MTV’s Video Music Awards, British prog-rockers Muse return with their fifth studio album, The Resistance, an LP packed with symphonic grandiose and humongous songs. American Idol’s Adam Lambert and Twilight fans the world over might very well love this album, but Rolling Stone gave the album three stars due to frontman Matthew Bellamy’s continued fixation with his idols. “Songs like the industrial-flavored ‘Uprising’ prove again that Muse know how to whip up an almighty roar,” Jody Rosen writes in his review, “But the lyrics are pompous doggerel (’Coercive notions re-evolve/A universe is trapped inside a tear’), and they borrow shamelessly from Radiohead and Queen without the former’s musical invention or the latter’s cheeky swagger.”

Also earning three stars from Rolling Stone is the debut album from Cleveland rapper Kid Cudi, Man on the Moon: The End of Day. With a title like that, you’d think MGMT were the authors, and lo and behold, MGMT and Ratatat appear on the single “Pursuit of Happiness.” Needless to say, this isn’t the typical album you’d expect from a protégé of Kanye West, who features along with Common on the Gaga-sampling “Make Her Say.” The album shows potential, but the weight of lyrically carrying this concept album proves too heavy for Cudi as he falls into a trap of pedestrian raps. Still, it’s worth hearing if not for “Day N Night” alone.

Hitting digital music services today is the second album to feature the vocal stylings of Scarlett Johansson: Break Up, the actress’ collaboration with singer-songwriter Pete Yorn. Although they boast bigger marquee names than eerily similar Zooey Deschanel/M. Ward project She & Him, Yorn and ScarJo don’t capture the same magic as the pair attempts to reinvent the great Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot albums. Break Up’s nine songs have plenty of sweet harmonies, but there’s just no sexual chemistry between these two friends,” Melissa Maerz writes in her two-and-a-half stars review.

Joining these new albums at stores: Perez Hilton’s new favorite artist, Living Colour’s first album in six years and a Big Star compilation. Check out all the New Reviews below, and don’t forget to stop by our Reviews section for RS’s take on Pearl Jam’s Backspacer and Jay-Z’s The Blueprint 3:

All four members of U2, Scarlett Johansson, Courtney Love, Antony, Martha and Rufus Wainwright and many more will take the stage at a (RED)NIGHTS concert at New York’s Carnegie Hall on October 4th. “Hal Willner Presents: An Evening with Gavin Friday and Friends” will also feature performances from the Turtles’ Flo & Eddie, the Pogues’ Shane McGowan, Laurie Anderson. punk icon Lydia Lunch and, as the name of the event denotes, Gavin Friday and members of his goth band, the Virgin Prunes.

Part of the proceeds from the tickets, which go on sale tomorrow, September 16th, will go toward the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. The evening’s presenter Hal Willner, a frequent Friday collaborator, has also produced albums by Lou Reed, Marianne Faithful and the soundtrack for the film Million Dollar Hotel, based on a story by Bono.

For U2, their appearance at “An Evening with Gavin Friday and Friends” comes the night after their October 3rd 360 Tour concert in Raleigh, North Carolina, but considering Bono is childhood friends with Friday (it was Friday and the Virgin Prunes’ Guggi who gave Paul Hewson his now-famous nickname “Bono”) and a huge supporter of the Global Fund, the detour shouldn’t be a problem. (Read our report from the Chicago kick off here.) Also scheduled to appear are Side and Nancy star Chloe Webb, guitarist Bill Frisell, the Corrs’ Andrea Corr, Foetus’ J.G. Thirlwell and other special guests.
