Might Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly debate about President Nick Jonas someday?
Last summer, the singer joked about running for the highest office in the world. He’s even named his new band “The Administration.” All random, fun talk, right?
Maybe not.
In a new interview, Jonas was once again asked about his political aspirations and said: “I think it started off as a joke, but now I feel it’s becoming a bit more serious and starting my campaign now. It would be fun to be president. We’ll see what happens.”
If he runs on a platform of good hair and promise rings, Nick might actually win.
Perhaps even more buzz-worthy than his possible Presidential run, Jonas also talked about his rumored relationship with Selena Gomez. The pair were spotted at dinner together this week.
“I try to keep it a bit to myself and keep it a bit private,” he said. “We always try to find time to go out and hang out with people we enjoy spending time with and as far as that future of that relationship goes, I will keep that to myself for right now.”
Sounds perfectly fair and mature. But doesn’t sound like a denial, either, does it?

Diddy Obama? Sean Combs may be all grown up, but he wouldn’t mind having President Barack Obama as a surrogate father.
“I ain’t gonna lie – if God said I could pick one person to be my father, I’d want to be Sean Combs Obama,” the Artist Popularly Known As Diddy told Playboy for their January/February double issue, on newsstands this month. “That’s how dope he is. I hope he reads this interview and adopts me. I wouldn’t even have to be in the will. I got my own money!”
The rap music mogul, 40, also told the mag that he believes hip-hop played a major part in getting Obama to The Oval Office.
“I think we are probably responsible for Obama being in office, yes…The confidence, the swagger we instilled in our communities made that possible,” he said.

Well, what have we here? Hours after the Secret Service insisted that President Barack Obama was never endangered by a security breach that allowed a Real Housewives of DC hopeful and her polo aficionado husband to crash the administration’s first state dinner, The White House released a photo showing that not only did the enterprising couple get close to The Prez, they shook hands and spoke with him.
Virginia couple, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, met Obama in the receiving line, a “deeply concerned and embarrassed” Secret Service acknowledged Friday, confessing that procedures were not followed and officers never checked whether the two were on the guest list before allowing them onto The White House grounds. The agency previously said the president was never in any danger because the couple — like others at the dinner — had gone through magnetometers and were unarmed.
The Salahis were not on the guest list and should have been barred from entering last Tuesday’s dinner on the White House South Lawn for Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, said Secret Service Director Mark Sullivan.
The newly-released White House photo shows The Salahis in the receiving line in the Blue Room with Obama and Singh.

If you thought the Balloon Boy hoax was as far as you’d see aspiring reality TV jokers go for 15 minutes of fame, you don’t know Michaele and Tareq Salahi.
The Virginia couple somehow managed to crash a state dinner at the White House this week and get up close and personal with President Barack Obama.
They are now the subject of a federal investigation.
The Secret Service is looking to file charges against Michaele and Tareq Salahi, who were attempting to land a spot on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of D.C.
On Tuesday, the Salahis snuck into the president’s first state dinner, honoring the prime minister of India, then posted pictures of themselves schmoozing.
Amazingly, Michaele and Tareq Salahi even managed to meet Barack and Michelle Obama in a receiving line, bypassing security with no invite or red flag.

On the verge of launching the D.C. installment of its reality franchise, Bravo is trying distance itself from it, saying the Salahis’ participation is “not finalized.”
“[Show producers] Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis that day as they prepared for the event, that’s the extent of our involvement,” Bravo said Friday.
So they told producers they were invited and were filmed getting ready. That doesn’t explain how they got in, of course, and President Obama isn’t taking it lightly.
The matter has been referred to the Secret Service’s internal affairs division, leading to a full investigation, according to Secret Service spokesman Jim Mackin.
While Mackin said the agency hasn’t determined if party crashing is illegal, it hasn’t ruled out pursuing criminal charges against the fame-seeking socialites.
Secret Services is taking full responsibility for the mishap, saying procedures likely weren’t followed at the checkpoints and invites weren’t checked properly.

How are Angelina’s political views affecting her relationship with partner Brad Pitt, an outspoken supporter of the Obama Administration?
“They get in nasty arguments all the time about it,” the tattle adds. “She doesn’t respect Brad when it comes to politics, but, in the end, this won’t tear them apart.”
