Today, Tinsley Mortimer may be celebrating the debut of her CW reality show High Society last night, but she probably won’t be getting any congratulations from her soon-to-be-ex sister-in-law Minnie. Our sister pub, The Gloss, discovered the hard way that Minnie, who’s a fashion designer, in no way wants to be connected to the burgeoning reality star — who is currently separated from Minnie’s brother Topper and dating Constantine Maroulis.
After doing an interview with Minnie about her fashion line, The Gloss’s Jennifer Wright started receiving emails from her publicist, asking her to cut any mention of the Tinz from the final draft. The Gloss refused, and you can read the whole interview here.

Kate Gosselin is fitting in nicely on Dancing With the Stars, according to reports. Its cast members apparently never watched her on Jon & Kate Plus 8.
On Tuesday, the reality-mom turned amateur dancer met with her Dancing With the Stars rivals in a Hollywood studio for a promotional photo shoot.
“Kate was so nice,” a set source tells Us Weekly. “Everyone loved her. She was funny, cordial and accommodating.” Adds the insider: “It was a surprise!”
The star’s dancing partner, Tony Dovolani, agrees. Following their Good Morning America visit Tuesday, he Tweeted, “Kate and I are getting along great.”
“She is [an amazing] Mom and it looks like she is going to become a great dancer too! Kate and I are having a blast today. [We] had a nice long day of photo shoots and title shoots and I think both of us are ready to just pass out lol.”
LOL, indeed.
Will Kate Gosselin hold her own on Dancing with the Stars?
Kate has her work cut out against the likes of Chad Ochocinco, Erin Andrews, Damian Whitewood and Jake Pavelka. But she’s riding a wave of confidence.
Monday on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Gosselin said she “can’t dance,” but nevertheless “I’m gonna win.” One strategy: employ her eight kids to vote for her.
Dovolani plans to travel with her to her Wernersville, Pa. home and rehearse at a “local studio” or in the basement studio DWTS had made for Kate.
Gosselin praises Dovolani as “a very positive person. Even when I mess up really, really bad – which is a lot – he still has something positive to say.”
Unlike Kate on Jon & Kate Plus 8. She basically cut Jon’s nuts off every single week. Speaking of Jon, how about that pic Hailey Glassman posted!

Jay Leno had a pair of contrasting guests on The Tonight Show last night.
First, there was Sarah Palin, mocking her own idiocy by reading notes off her hand again. What a joker!
Then, there was musical guest Adam Lambert. It’s safe to assume Palin wouldn’t include him in her fantasy version of “real America.”

If Tiger Woods has taught us anything, it’s that a short game can go a long way with the ladies.
Nick Jonas appeared to have heeded this lesson, as he took rumored girlfriend on a golfing date yesterday.
Buzz about Jonas and Gomez rekindling their relationship started to circulate last month, as the female singer accompanied Nick and his new band on a couple tour stops.
When Jonas was later asked about Selena, he didn’t confirm the pair were dating… but he didn’t exactly deny it, either.
Now that the two have been spotted on the golf course – discussing club selection and water traps… if you know what we mean! – expect the rumor mill to go into hyper drive this week. As long as Nick and Selena are happy, we’re happy…

Matt Kemp is projected as the sixth-best player in fantasy baseball headed into the 2010 MLB season. If hitting home runs with celebrities was a statistic, though?
He’d still be behind Alex Rodriguez. But that #2 spot would be within reach after the awesome 22nd birthday party he threw for Rihanna in Phoenix this weekend!
Rihanna was “shocked” by the baseball star’s grand gestures, apparently expecting a small get-together with a few friends, but getting a whole lot more than that.
Kemp had been planning the event for a month to make sure Rihanna’s birthday was special, according to an insider, and boy did he come through in the clutch.
Flowers, cupcakes, tiki torches in the pool, engraved bottles of Ace of Spades and Johnny Walker Blue, and a personal Jamaican chef? A kick-ass time was had.
Sounds like Matt Kemp’s birthday bash for Rihanna was a smash hit.
Around 40 people showed up, including friends of both the singer and Matt Kemp, who topped off the night with a cake decorated with Rihanna’s many tattoos.
“It was so sweet and she was really surprised,” the source said. “She looked just beautiful.” Especially in the custom diamond necklace her beau bought for her!
This guy’s really going the extra mile. While she has been coy about dating Matt Kemp so far, they’re leaving little doubt about a major love connection going on.
Only 25 years old and in his prime, Matt Kemp would be a keeper in any fantasy league. Looks like Rihanna might rate him that way in the game of love, as well.

Her days may be numbered on television’s Ugly Betty, but the curtain hasn’t closed just yet for Becki Newton. The actress has reportedly landed a starring role in a new NBC pilot. Newton, who previously appeared as receptionist Amanda on the recently cancelled Betty, has been cast as virgin and hopeless romantic “Annie” in the new hour-long comedy Love Bites, Entertainment Weekly said this week. The romantic comedy, executive produced by Sex And The City’s Cindy Chupack, is expected to premiere this fall.
