Evan Rachel Wood has dropped out of the Broadway adaptation of Spider-Man.
The True Blood actress will no longer play Spider-Man’s love interest, Mary Jane Watson, when Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark opens on the Great White Way later this year.
“Evan Rachel Wood has departed Spider-Man, Turn Off the Dark due to a scheduling conflict,” producers told Variety this week.
Casting is under way to find a new Mary Jane to join the rest of the cast in the production. Woods’ departure is just the latest in a string of problems that have dogged Peter Park’s trek to Broadway. The musical was originally scheduled to open in February, but financial restraints for the extravagant production forced producers to reimburse ticket-holders.
Spider-Man: The Musical will reportedly open for previews in late summer, with official opening expected next fall.

You may have heard the inevitable news that Marilyn Manson and his girlfriend honey Evan Rachel Wood just got engaged earlier this week. Well, that was right!
Kind of.
The 41-year-old shock-rocker and 22-year-old True Blood actress are indeed betrothed. But the couple didn’t get engaged at a Paris concert on Monday.
Instead, they got engaged at his Paris concert on December 21!
MADE FOR EACH OTHER: Marilyn and Evan are getting married!
The self-proclaimed Antichrist Superstar (real name Brian Warner) bought a ring and rose for the occasion and canoodled backstage with the actress afterward.
Manson’s first marriage, to Dita Von Teese, went up in flame back in 2007 after he hooked up with Wood, who starred in his video for “Heart-Shaped Glasses.”
He and Wood hooked up right around the time he stopped seeing Dita. They broke up in 2008 only to reconcile last April. Now they’re together … forever!

Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson just got back together last month after spending some time apart. Are they now fast-tracking their relationship to the altar?
According to The Mirror (UK), they are already engaged to be married.
An inside source says that at one of the shock rocker’s recent shows in Paris, France, he asked Evan to be his wife. Evan said “Yes.” Congratulations … we think?
As recently as September, Evan was linked to her True Blood co-star, Alexander Skarsgard. She soon got back together with Manson, but is this rumor legit?
We sort of hope not. We’re happy for them and all, but nothing good can come of this. We’re picturing black roses, vials of blood and other morbid stuff.

Break out the barf bags, because Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood and totally back together. The big news was broken … by Manson himself!
In a new interview about his upcoming material, if that’s what you’d call it, Marilyn revealed that he and the True Blood cast member are a thing:

One of the celeb world’s hottest, strangest couple is back on!
After she took over for Dita von Teese, Evan Rachel Wood and Marilyn Manson dated and lived together for about a year before breaking up in November 2008.
Marilyn also had an interesting quote regarding his career.
Asked if his new music will be “a more honest look” at the rocker, he replied, “Yeah, I think it will be more badass. More romantic maybe. Definitely self abusive.”
Whatever that means, we not sure we even want to know.

I’ve been a fan of Evan Rachel Wood’s going back to when she starred as Jessie Sammler in the TV series “Once and Again.” So I’ve been following her successful movie and TV career with delight.
Most recently, she starred as the Vampire Queen in HBO’s “True Blood” and in the feature films “Whatever Works” and 2008’s “The Wrestler.”
Now she’s joined the cast of the Robert Redford-directed film "The Conspirator," which begins shooting this month in Georgia. It’s a historical drama about a Confederate sympathizer who was tried as a conspirator in the Lincoln assassination and the man who defended her before a military tribunal.
James McAvoy, Robin Wright Penn and Justin Long also star in the film. It’s been a while since Redford directed a film – most recently, 2007’s “Lions for Lambs.” But he has several films lined up as either director, producer, actor or all three, including “Against All Enemies,” “A Walk in the Woods,” and “The Company You Keep.”

I have no idea why this is news, but Evan Rachel Wood and Alex Skarsgard are hooking up! They are either a couple or just like to hang out with each other for sexual company!
Wood and Skarsgard have apparently been hooking up ever since they met on the set of True Blood. Word on the street is…Skarsgard is in Louisiana filming a new movie, and Wood came to visit him. The two have been seen out and about.
People are getting so pissed about this…why? I have no idea! Who cares! Evan Rachel Wood will bang anything!

According to new reports, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer no longer have the distinction of True Blood stars who get naked on and off set to themselves.
Evan Rachel Wood and Alexander Skarsgard are more than co-stars, if you believe the gossip queen known as Perez Hilton, who cites a “reliable” source.
His intel comes from the set of Straw Dogs, a movie being filmed right now in Shreveport, La., and which stars Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard.
The source claims that Evan Rachel Wood flew in Friday to be with Skarsgard, supposedly, and he was overheard talking about hanging out with her.
There are even pictures of the two allegedly together in Louisiana.
Alexander Skarsgard and Evan Rachel Wood may be dating.
Supposedly, A-Skarz and ERW have been hooking up ever since they met on the set of True Blood, the HBO series gaining in popularity by the week.
