Petite powerhouse Christina Aguilera has created an eco-friendly Chrysler for Haitian earthquake relief.
The singer teamed up with the American automaker to help launch the new EcoStyle By Christina Aguilera — which features recycled materials in the interior and an economic engine. Aguilera put her own personal touches — and autograph — on a white Chrysler 300, which will be sold to raise money for disaster relief efforts in Haiti in an upcoming charity auction.

Here are a few pics of Christina Aguilera and Cher filming scenes from their new movie “Burlesque”; it’s about a small-town girl who ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer. In other words, it’s the same old tired Hollywood fable about women actually enjoying being exploited in strip clubs. They FIND THEMSELVES, people. Let’s see, make a useful contribution to society vs. shoving my ass crack into stranger’s faces for money….hmmm…I choose ass crack for $100 (plus all my dignity, self-respect, and lack of STD’s), Alex!
Seriously, why do they keep shoving this tired shite down our throats? Girls who go to LA to become actresses or whatever, they don’t suddenly walk into a strip club and have some kind of epiphany moment where they suddenly realize that HOLY COW they have been completely wasting their lives, and all they really need to be whole is to put on a g-string. Puhlease. That’s about the very last resort, and it’s utterly ridiculous for Hollywood to tell us otherwise. Humph.

Christina Aguilera’s eyes look downright mesmerizing on the February 2010 issue of Marie Claire. The pop star claims she’s mellowed a bit since her early years.
“In this crazy business, it’s so easy to build up a lot of walls and a lot of bitterness. And that’s just no way to live,” the four-time Grammy Award winner said.
“[I can now use softer tones] I’ve been afraid to in the past, allow myself to go to a place of ‘less singing.’ I’m more vulnerable and strong at the same time.”
Christina Aguilera is turning over a new leaf musically.
The 29-year-old mom says her son Max also inspires her to be lighter in her music, despite the fact that “I had a really hard time being light before.”
“I’d get a little weird about it being too cliché. My first record was very clichéd pop – what everyone else wanted. [My second album Stripped] inspired by a lot of pain. [My third, Back to Basics,] still had some sort of relation to my past.”
“[My new album] is just about the future, having my son in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun.” Sounds like a great combo to us.

- John Lennon’s star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame has temporarily vanished. Los Angeles blog LAist noted its absence and theorizes the square could be out for cleaning or being prepared for the addition of fellow Beatle Ringo Starr’s star, which will arrive February 8th.
- Christina Aguilera was involved in a minor car accident last night, TMZ reports. The singer’s assistant was driving Aguilera’s SUV when she rear-ended another car; no injuries were reported.
- Blink-182 singer-guitarist Tom DeLonge’s other band, Angels & Airwaves, will release their third LP, Love, free to fans as a download on Valentine’s Day. Get a listen to first single “Hallucinations” at Fuel TV.
- Peter Wolf’s next album, Midnight Souvenirs, is due April 6th and features collaborations with Merle Haggard (”It’s Too Late For Me”), Shelby Lynne (”Tragedy”) and Neko Case (”The Green Fields Of Summer”).
