What breakup with Jason Trawick?!
Two days after reports surfaced that the relationship between Britney Spears and her agent beau was dead and buried, and one day after conflicting reports that they were kind of just off and on, the pair put on a united front in L.A. Wednesday.
Their hot destination: a party supply store.
There, the 28-year-old pop star purchased a tiara, which she quickly put on her head. Throw in a McDonald’s run and you’ve got the ideal Britney Spears date.

A source explained yesterday to one prominent celebrity gossip tabloid that Spears and agent Trawick are “on and off,” and spent this past weekend together.
The breakup report surfaced earlier in the week and was first reported by E! News, one of the more legitimate sources in the entertainment world. It’s weird.
The couple has been an item since early 2009, after Spears bounced back from a tough 2007 and 2008 that included going bat$h!t insane and losing custody.
“Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney’s life,” a source said of the couple. “And he’s very protective of her.”
When and if they’re actually dating, at least.

Despite reports that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick, her boyfriend of over a year, broke up late last month, multiple insiders say it’s not necessarily true.
At the very least, it’s more complicated than that.
Over the weekend, the star and her agent beau were spotted at L.A.’s Mondrian Hotel, and also spent time at Britney Spears’ home, according to a source.
“They are on and off,” another pal says of Britwick.
A rep for the singer had no comment on the latest breakup rumor. However, it’s not listed in the “BS” section of her official site devoted to bogus gossip!
Britney and Jason: Together? Broken up? Somewhere in between?
Spears and Trawick have been dating since early 2009, after he stood by her as a friend during her dark moments, including her hospitalizations of 2008.
“Most everyone else abandoned her, but Jason refused to be completely cut out of Britney’s life,” a source close to her said. “He’s very protective of her.”
Even the pop star’s mother is rooting for them. “Lynne said, ‘He’s the kind of man you dream of your daughter marrying. The kids love him he’s stable.’”
The guy did follow Adnan Ghalib, so the boyfriend bar was set pretty low by the time he came along. No knock against Jason there, it’s just true. Anyway.

Britney Spears and Jason Trawick broke up last month.
This is sad, but not altogether unexpected news. The reason for the couple’s split? Her daily cocktail of prescription drugs wore off long enough for her to realize that she is Britney Spears, and that she was dating Jason Trawick.
Just kidding. The real reason? They just plain got tired of being together. “They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along,” a source says of the two.
Thus, the 28-year-old pop princess is single again, with Jason Trawick ending his yearlong reign as her boyfriend and joining a long, esteemed list of Brit exes.
K-Fed, Jason, Justin, Adnan, J.R. & Co.: Give it up for your newest member!
BYE BYE BRITWICK: Jason and Britney had a good run.
William Morris Endeavor Entertainment, where he works, confirmed Tuesday that Trawick is still representing Britney Spears, despite a romantic parting of ways.
Is there a chance they’ll get back together after time apart? Spears and Trawick cooled off over the holidays in December, but rekindled the flame soon after.
He was rumored to be cheating on Britney soon after. Rumored.
The pair attended the Grammys together on January 31, and were last seen in public together on Valentine’s Day at a McDonald’s drive-thru in L.A. Romantic.
“They both just needed to take a break from each other,” the Britney source says. “It wasn’t working out.” However, “a reconciliation remains on the table.”

Pop singer Britney Spears has reportedly broken up with her boyfriend Jason Trawick.
What do you expect from a couple whose idea of a romantic dinner for two is the drive-thru at Mickey D’s?
The couple parted ways last month after about a year of dating, according to reports. However, the singer’s rep has yet to confirm the reports.
“They were fighting a lot and have not been getting along,” the source said. “They both just needed to take a break from each other. It wasn’t working out.”
Last year it was reported that Spears proposed to Trawick, who is also her agent, while she was on tour in Australia. When he turned her down, she told him to take the next plane back to the US.

Britney Spears has been left shamefaced after her overbearing dad, Jamie Spears, effectively banned her from having any contact with old party pal Lindsay Lohan.
Britney and Lindsay used to get into lots of pantyless mischief together back in the day, but they’ve barely seen each other since Britney’s breakdown in 2008. The girls tried to rekindle their friendship with a phone call last month, but when Brit’s dad — also her legal guardian — found out he hit the roof, an insider snitched in the March 15 issue of The National Enquirer.
“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track,” a spy explains. “They simply chatted by phone – but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded. He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would not tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter.”

A couple weeks ago, we were criticized for writing that Adam Lambert blasted Susan Boyle’s album and rendition of “Wild Horses.” Fans of the American Idol finalist thought that was a misrepresentation of his comments.
But make no mistake now: Ke$ha has very much torn into Britney Spears.
In a new interview, the outspoken singer was asked about Britney’s habit of lip-synching during concerts and replied:
“I think that’s bull$hit. I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. If you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance.”
“If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing. I would never do that to my fans… It’s treating people as if they are too stupid to realize you are not actually singing… I would rather be off and be real and genuine about it to my fans.”
This isn’t the first time Spears has been called out for pretending to sing live. A few months ago, fans in Australia walked out of Britney’s Circus tour due to the singer’s shoddy lip-synching and general performance.

Him Against The Music: Ke$ha has some company in her campaign to shut up Britney Spears. Word is even Britney’s own boyfriend — FYI: The guy who treated her to McDonald’s on Valentine’s Day — isn’t a fan of at least one of the lip-syncher’s famous pop tunes.
Talent agent Jason Trawick, who has been romantically-linked to Spears for nearly a year, had some choice words about his missus’ music while hanging out at Paris Hilton’s Studio 54-themed birthday bash (How many times is this woman going to turn 29), FOX News’ 411 Column reported Wednesday.
A spywitness told the column: “Jason arrived with a male friend, but was definitely enjoying himself until DJ Mr. Best, threw on Britney Spears’ song ‘Toxic.’ When the song came on the first thing out of Jason’s mouth was ‘OMG I hate this song!’ His friends all laughed and continued to talk, but he interrupted them by saying, ‘I’m sorry, I can’t hear what you’re saying over her voice.’ He wasn’t laughing….”

A blonde who can’t sing rips a pop icon with the vocal talents of a field mouse: Singing star Ke$ha shot to fame with her Billboard-topping single “Tik Tok” and was also featured on Britney Spears’ track “Lace And Leather,” but the 23-year-old partygirl is blasting Brit — and other singers like her — who lip-synch in concert.
Ke$ha says she was disappointed with Britney’s miming and lip-synching during her controversial “Circus World Tour” last year. I don’t know about you guys, but I find this hilarious. Doesn’t this noodle noogin know that neither one of them can sing?!
“I think that’s bullshit,” Ke$ha spat in a chat with the UK’s Daily Record this week. “I don’t think that’s fair at all for people who are going to see the show. I think if you are going to be a singer, you should sing. If you are going to be a dancer, you should dance. If you are going to do a combination of the two, you should make it very clear when you are singing and very clear when you are dancing.”
She adds: “I would never do that to my fans. No offense to her specifically but people have asked me before to mime. I have been up at three in the morning for a television show with jet lag but I refuse to mime.”
