Five months after Michael Jackson’s death, Janet Jackson finally opened up her thoughts with Robin Roberts in a recent interview on the show “In the Spotlight”. Janet was probably the closest to the late King of Pop among the Jackson family members. In a summary, she said how none of the family knew that Michael’s drug addiction had gone that far. Furthermore, she placed blame on Dr. Conrad Murray, saying the doctor should no longer be allowed to practice medicine.
“He was the one that was administering,” she told ABC’s Robin Roberts. “I think he is responsible.”
Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, remains the focus of a manslaughter investigation into the pop star’s death. Murray has admitted to administering the anesthetic propofol, but has denied giving Michael anything that should have killed him.
The last time Janet said that she saw Michael alive, was a few days before her birthday. Jackson recounted the details of the morning of June 25, before she learned that Michael had collapsed, and her world turned upside down. Janet said that she was at her house in New York. She tried to call everyone, including LaToya, Tito and her mother Katherine, to get more information.
“It’s been a tough year,” she said. “You have your days where it’s just really — it’s hard to believe. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”
Janet believes that she has come out of this family tragedy with a new mental toughness. Check out the full interview here:
Biggest Loser 2009 Contestant Rebecca Meyer, who was recently eliminated from the competition appeared on the Jay Leno show last night. During the course of the competition, The Biggest Loser, Rebecca had lost over 100 pounds. More importantly, she had developed a close relationship with Daniel.
“Daniel was my best friend, and leaving the show we talked for like five, six-hour conversations and then, you know, he told me he had feelings,” she said.
“Daniel and I have gone through the same thing,” she said. “I mean, he’s gone through an even more intense version of it, and I fell in love with my best friend.”

As everyone expected, Mya made it to the finals of “Dancing With the Stars”. She was the first contestant announced to make it to the next round. However, the results after that were a completely unexpected. The second star that was favored to make it to the finals was Joanna Krupa and partner Derek Hough. Most fans were shocked to find them eliminated over the less inspiring Donny Osmond and Kelly Osbourne. No offense, but the quality of performances put forth by Donny and Kelly were no where close to prior finalists.
Based on speculations, Mya had the top score going into the finals. Donny Osmond appears to have the biggest fan base. Kelly Osbourne has the support of the young audience. This means Joanna Krupa got left out of the mix even though she’s obviously a better dancer than Donny and Kelly.
But I suppose it doesn’t matter who came in second or third because Mya is going to be the 2009 Dancing With The Stars Winner! If you missed Mya’s Salsa, here it is:

Carrie Prejean is on the headlines again.
Last night in the middle of interview on “Larry King Live”, Carrie Prejean threatened to walk off in the middle of her interview after King for details behind her recent settlement with the Miss California USA pageant.
King asked Prejean why she agreed to strike a deal with the Pageant and drop her claims of libel, slander and religious discrimination.
“Why settle since you had a fight to carry on?” King pressed. Prejean demurred. King asked again: “You can’t even say why you settled?”
The ex-queen continued to brush aside questions as “inappropriate” and cited a confidentiality agreement. As King proceeded to take calls from viewers, the first caller proclaimed to be “a gay man and loves pageants”. Prejean reaches to disconnect her mic and mouths something to someone off camera.
“Yeah I think you are being extremely inappropriate right now, and I’m about to leave your show.”
Supposedly, Prejean says she refused to continue because “she was told she wouldn’t have to take any calls from viewers.”

Jim Sheridan’s “Brothers” is based on Susan Beir’s 2004 Danish-language film. It’s quick garnering the attention of Academy voters.
“Brothers” tells the powerful story of two siblings, thirty-something Captain Sam Cahill (Tobey Maguire) and younger brother Tommy Cahill (Jake Gyllenhaal). Sam is a steadfast family man married to his high school sweetheart, Grace (Natalie Portman), with whom he has two young daughters. Tommy, his charismatic younger brother, is a drifter just out of jail who’s always gotten by on wit and charm.
Sam was a marine deployed to Afghanistan. When his Black Hawk helicopter is shot down during a combat, Sam was presumed dead. Back at home, Tommy tries to fill in for his brother by assuming his brother’s responsibility to Grace and the children. In the grief and strangeness of their new lives, Grace and Tommy are naturally drawn together.
When Sam unexpectedly returns to the States, he had endured Afghanistan’s harsh treatments that threaten to rob him of his very humanity. He became more withdrawn and volatile, grows suspicious of his brother and his wife. Sam and Tommy end up facing the ultimate physical and mental challenge when they confront each other. In the end, the movie tells the compelling tale of how two brothers come to terms with issues of love, loyalty, and manhood—and with the woman caught between them.
Have you seen an increasing number of cars painted with advertisement on the streets lately?
Supposedly it’s an easy way to get extra cash monthly while driving your car to your daily activities. Owners of these cars receive a monthly check to compensate them for allowing advertisers to apply auto wraps to their rides. Two advertising firms currently under this business model are Free Car Media and DrivenMedia. These companies will select drivers who live in desirable locations such as high-traffic, urban areas. Once selected, you’ll be expected to act as a spokesperson for the company or product you are advertising. You’ll also be required to drive a minimum number of miles each month.
To be clear, they don’t actually give out free car, but they do pay you anywhere from $300 to $700 montly if you don’t mind driving around with an enlarged ad campaign on your car.
After 40 years, Steven Tyler has decided to part ways with Aerosmith. The rumor has been floating around for a while, but recently guitarist Joe Perry confirmed that Tyler has quit the band and isn’t on speaking terms with anybody.
“Steven quit as far as I can tell. I don’t know any more than you do about it,” Perry told the Las Vegas Sun, adding that the singer “has had no contact with me or the other band members”.
Perry blames Tyler’s lack of communication for the split saying, “He’s notorious for that. That’s one thing I’ve learned to live with. I try to overlook it. I like to pick my battles.
“Frankly, the last few months I’ve been wanting not to rock the boat. I don’t want him canceling any more gigs. We really wanted to do these last four. We just kind of didn’t want to call him out or anything and get him anymore p**sed off, for whatever reason. So we just let things lie.
Tyler last performed with the band in Hawaii and Abu Dhabi last month. But in a post-gig interview with Classic Rock magazine, he indicated he was ready to focus on his solo career.
The 61-year-old said: ‘I don’t know what I’m doing yet, but it’s definitely going to be something Steven Tyler: working on the brand of myself – Brand Tyler.’
Aerosmith was formed in 1970, have released 14 albums and won numerous awards.
Comedian Katt Williams was arrested Sunday night on charges of burglary and criminal trespass in a west Georgia community.
According to Coweta County Sheriff’s Office Major James Yarbrough, Katt tried to break into a home in Newnan, about 38 miles southwest of Atlanta. Yarbrough said the homeowner called police around 9 p.m. to report the comedian “gained entry by breaking into the home, and items were taken from the residence.”
The arrest comes after a string of legal spats for Katt, who was briefly jailed last November after New York City police pulled him over for driving without a license plate discovered three guns. Manhattan prosecutors dropped the weapons charges in July.
