Catalina Sandino Moreno, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in 2004’s ‘Maria Full of Grace,’ will appear in ‘Eclipse,’ the third film in the ‘Twilight’ series. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sandino Moreno will play the role of Maria, a vamp from Jasper Cullen’s past who creates an army of “baby vampires” during a nineteenth century vampire war. Other newcomers to ‘Eclipse’ include Bryce Dallas Howard as bad vamp Victoria, and Anjelica Huston’s nephew Jack Huston, who will play the newborn undead Riley. ‘The Twilight Saga: Eclipse’ begins production August 17, while the ‘Twilight’ sequel, ‘New Moon,’ is set to hit theaters November 20.
