Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who is charged with illegally providing drugs for Anna Nicole Smith, wrote about kissing the late star in his diary entries and wondered if it was wrong to do so, says a new report. The Associated Press reports that Judge Robert J. Perry on Wednesday read diary entries written by Dr. Kapoor, in which Kapoor wrote about kissing Smith repeatedly and pondered whether or not doing so “blurred the lines” of doctor-patient ethics. According to the AP, Dr. Kapoor also wrote about the desire to get off drugs himself. Earlier Wednesday, state medical board investigator Jon Genens testified that Dr. Kapoor had a stash of medical records tucked away in his home closet and that some of Smith’s medical records were also being held at the office of Dr. Kapoor’s attorney. The testimony was part of a preliminary hearing set to determine if Dr. Kapoor and two others should be tried for allegedly supplying Smith with drugs illegally. All three defendants have pleaded not guilty.
