Anne Hathaway and Neil Patrick Harris are flying down to Rio, or their voices are at least. The actors are in negotiations to lend their voices to the animated flick ‘Rio,’ according to The Hollywood Reporter. Produced in 3D digital animation, ‘Rio’ will chronicle the excursions of a nerdy macaw who escapes from his cage in a small Minnesota town for the colorful city of Rio de Janeiro. Harris recently lent his voice to the movie ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.’ Actor Rodrigo Santoro, a native of Rio de Janiero, is also reportedly cast in ‘Rio.’ According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fox Animation, who is behind this film along with Blue Sky Studios and director Carlos Saldanha, would not confirm this casting news. ‘Rio’ is expected to fly into theaters on April 8, 2011.
