Anna Nicole Smith’s former bodyguard, Maurice “Big Mo” Brighthaupt, was back on the stand Thursday to testify further in the criminal case against attorney Howard K. Stern, Dr. Khristine Eroshevich and Dr. Sandeep Kapoor. The lawyer and two doctors are being charged on counts of conspiracy to furnish the late Smith with drugs. Brighthaupt claimed on Thursday that Dr. Eroshevich was concerned about Smith overdosing and that the two had several chats about the former Playboy model’s drug use, the Associated Press reports. The former bodyguard also said that medication was strewn about Smith’s home in the Bahamas and that he witnessed her taking numerous pills at one time, according to the AP. On Wednesday, Brighthaupt testified that he saw Stern inject the former Playboy model many times and even encountered Stern in the bathroom, burning a spoon and drawing liquid from it. The former bodyguard said that Stern told him it was Valium and then drew it into a needle with which to inject Smith. Brighthaupt also testified that he saw Dr. Eroshevich inject Smith, but said on Thursday that it was a vitamin B12 shot. Smith died of a drug overdose in 2007 in a Florida hotel room and it was Brighthaupt who first tried to revive her. Keep checking “The Insider” for further updates from the hearing as Larry Birkhead, the father to Smith’s child Dannielynn, is scheduled to testify.
